    The teaching program is designed to provide students with an educational experience that will foster growth in learning english as a second language.

    To complete the Destination Canada experience, we highly recommend that students participate in an exciting and memorable tour of Canada’s world famous Niagara Falls and Canada’s largest city, Toronto.
  • English Program Campus

    Carleton University provides a setting and facilities equal to or better than any in North America. The campus is bordered on one side by the historic Rideau Canal and on the other side by the Rideau River, offering a safe and beautiful surrounding for our students.
  • Weekend Excursions

    On our weekend excursions students will learn English by understanding more about Canadian Cultures and customs. Every tour is supervised by at least two teachers and often includes a sightseeing approach from a city official.
  • Olympics

    All students get together with their respective countries and compete against one another in a night of fun and games.
  • Outdoor Adventure Weekend

    Destination Canada is proud to offer its students an opportunity to spend two fun filled days in the Great Canadian Outdoors.

Daily Activities

Weekend Excursions and Tours

Each weekend our students will participate in exciting and adventurous guided excursions. They will visit wildlife parks, tour beautiful cities and have the opportunity to experience certain of the National Museums of Canada which located in Ottawa. We also offer an exceptional tour to Toronto and Niagara Falls and an Adventure Weekend.

It's an Educational and Cultural Experience!!!

Since 1980 Destination Canada's International English Language Program has been providing an educational and cultural experience for boys and girls 10–17 years of age. Our english language program is designed to provide opportunities for new learning experiences by exposing the children to conversational and written English in a formal classroom setting by increasing their knowledge and awareness of North American and Canadian people, customs, and two official languages.

About Us

Our summer program is located on the magnificent campus of Carleton University, situated in the beautiful city of Ottawa, the Capital of Canada.

Since 1980, Camp Pilgrim has provided students from all parts of the globe with an unparalleled educational and cultural experience. The principal objective of our summer language program is to offer a learning environment combining education, recreation and travel in a safe and relaxed setting. Our educational program focuses on the development of conversational and written English through formal classroom and informal social settings.­­
