Because our English summer school is located on the campus of Carleton University, students can take advantage of the school’s modern facilities. These facilities include plenty of tennis courts, football fields, and a state-of-the-art gymnasium. They’re the perfect place for sports like tennis, soccer, basketball, fitness, yoga, and more.

During weekend trips, students at Destination Canada can see local animals like moose, deer, wolves, and more up close during a supervised visit to Park Omega.

In addition, students can also explore a beautiful water maze during their weekend adventures. Eco-Odyssey, located just an hour away from Ottawa, is a water maze that shows off some of Canada’s natural beauty. Students can explore this natural habitat by paddle boat—the perfect way to enjoy some physical exercise and have fun at the same time!

4. Students at English Summer School Can Enjoy Plenty of Activities in the Water

Language camp provides plenty of activities for students who love to swim. Because Destination Canada is located on Carleton University’s state-of-the-art campus, campers can take advantage of the university’s Olympic sized swimming pool. Students can also enjoy an afternoon swimming or playing beach volleyball at a local beach.

In addition, campers also get to visit Canada’s largest theme waterpark, Calypso Waterpark! Calypso has over a dozen fun and exciting attractions.
